Although the company began its corset-making activity in 1902, it didn't become "Chantelle" until 1949 when they introduced a brand of body-shaping undergarments with the slogan 'Chantelle, the girdle that does not creep.' Their timeless bra styles have set the standard for other lingerie companies to follow. Many of their styles are over 40 years old and are still popular to this day!
